Abi

Abi is a talented cook, alpinist, qualified masseuse and skier and can even fix cars!

Her recent exploits include climbing the Aiguille du Midi (3850m, 12,630 feet) via the Cosmique arete, climbing on crags in the valley floor and switching from snowboarding to skiing.

Abi is a passionate, philosophical, warm and lovely (unless you're naughty). She runs the chalet providing a comfortable, homely atmosphere for all who stay.

With a never-ending supply of laughter and hearty recipes, Abi will keep your spirits and stamina up for the adventures of your holiday.

Martin

Martin is an experienced freeride snowboarder, skier, rock climber and mountaineer.

With qualifications ranging from BASI Snowboarding Instructor to extensive backcountry training and crevasse rescue techniques, Martin has spent many years in the mountains.

Martin's love is freeriding - either on snowboard or skis - using every piece of terrain the mountains has to offer: pistes, powder faces, couloirs, cliffs, trees, steeps, glaciers and more. He may also be seen venturing into the snow parks to hit a few kickers and slide a few rails.

When the weather is good during the spring and during the summer Martin can usually be found happily bouldering, climbing rock routes or mountaineering.

Using his local knowledge Martin knows where the best snow is and the secret spots for the greatest days.

Chili

This is Chili's second ever winter season having only been born last summer so it's pretty much her first she'll remember! She doesn't live in the communal areas of the chalet, instead living in a self-contained pied-a-terre on the ground floor.

Chili loves the snow, exploring the forests and accompanies Martin and Abi climbing, hiking and snowshoeing.
